This will be a staple for me. I have combination comedone + acne prone skin, and this is great if your skin is angry and inflamed. It helps get rid of acne by improving health + resilience of your skin barrier, a great adjunct to harsher actives like acids or retinal which can dry and irritate the skin. The consistency is a bit more viscous and it has a grassy smell but it feels luxurious to apply without breaking me out.

Gave up using this as applicator and viscosity of the product were at complete odds with each other. A real pain to get the product into the dropper as is just too thick. Packaging needs to be changed, much better off in a squeezy tube. Either that or dilute the product. It was okay but a disappointing product, not at all worth the hype.

So, I'm rebuilding my skin barrier for the past year, no one ever told me that it's this hard when you have active acne and acne prone skin and that with every touch you get more pimples worth mentioning that I have high cortisol acne too. I used this for a few nights and started to see a reduction in my blemishes. If you’re sensitive to smells, you might not like this when first applied - it’s quite herby/medicinal but I personally think it’s a relaxing scent. It isn’t sticky and leaves your skin with a nice glow before bed
