As someone with acne-prone skin at 18, I found the oil to be slightly too heavy for my skin. It wasn’t overly greasy, but I do think it caused a few breakouts, especially during the summer. I feel like the combination of sweat and oil just doesn’t work particularly well for my skin type.
That being said, I have noticed some positive results. It removes my makeup really effectively, and after cleansing, my skin feels clean without feeling stripped or dry. However, I haven’t noticed any improvement in sebaceous filaments so far.
Overall, while I appreciate how gentle and effective it is at removing makeup, I don’t think it’s the best fit for my acne-prone skin during warmer months. Instead, I would recommend Anua’s reformulated cleansing oil along with their face wash. The new formula feels much lighter on the skin, cleanses effectively, and has worked better for my acne-prone skin.

This is the best oil cleanser i have ever used!
Its gentle, but exfoliates and unclogs my pores without drying my super sensitive skin.
I've noticed that since I've been using it my rosacea flare ups hardly happen now too.
Do yourself a big favor and but this - you won't regret it!

My most favourite oil clenser to date! At first, I found it intimidating, since it's on the thicker side and I was afraid that it would clog my pores, but it's actually amazing! It melts all the makeup and impurities off your face without stripping your skin and it feels amazing. I was really sick for a week and hadn't been able to even wash my face, so you can imagine the state my skin was in, but this literally melted all the roughness and just the ick off my skin. Definitely give it a try!

Sure this is partially on me for not reading through the ingredient list, but I really wish it would've said in the description that it has hazelnut oil in it. Luckily for me I'm not super allergic (if I were I probable would've read through the ingredients).

The Ma:nyo oil cleanser lives up to the hype. It takes off everything - dirt, oil, sunscreen, makeup and my skin felt clean already after rinsing it off. And it doesn’t sting the eyes! Will definitely buy again 🩷

A beautiful oil cleanser that’s leaves the skin wonderfully soft and no tightness. Removes makeup but does leave a little waterproof mascara so I prefer to use a separate eye makeup remover . Will definitely repurchase, especially good for winter use as skin barrier can get compromised due to weather and heating systems .

I absolutely love this cleansing oil to remove makeup, I was worried it wouldn’t do the job as well as the previous product I’ve been using but I would say this one is even better. It’s full of great ingredients and once everything is off your face, your skin feels so smooth, isn’t irritated and is ready for the second cleanse. I've worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years and this is the first time I've written a review as i wanted to share how fantastic this product is.
My skin is normally sensitive and hyper reactive but after patch testing and using now for the last 3 weeks the difference in my skin is phenomenal!
My skin is softer with reduced pore size and I've actually stopped wearing any makeup as there is no need! - Absolutely rate this as my all time top product!

I’ve got very sensitive acne prone skin and this has cleared me up amazingly, I would absolutely recommend using it. It has a slightly citrusy smell to it because of the oils but I love that, I find it wakes me up in the morning. Definitely worth the money
